From Marty at MRN: It appears as though Elliott Sadler is the leading candidate to replace Michael Waltrip in the Wood Brothers car next year. Last week Waltrip and the Woods announced that they would not continue their partnership next season. It also appears as though the second Wood Brothers team for 1999, which has been talked about so frequently this season, will not happen until at least the 2000 season.( Marty’s Two Cents – MRN Notes ) (08-27-1998)
