Morning practice at Martinsville has 32 cars faster then the 36th fastest in 1st round qualifying, so we could see a hetic 2nd round qualifying and much bumping. #41 is fast enough to get up there in practice so far, the #’s 79 and 85 are still very slow. Eight teams ran 100 or more laps in practice: #’s 6,10,24,31,42,50,94 and 99. With Jeff Burton fastest in the #99 at 92.764mph.(9-26-98)
