Sad News: Ralph Seagraves, who as president of R.J. Reynolds’ sports marketing operation from 1972 through 1985 and played a key role in the promotion of NASCAR’s Winston Cup series during its formulative years, died yesterday at Forsyth Hospital in Winston-Salem.
