An infield pit photographer, Darlene Ryland of Danville, GA., suffered “a possible right lower-leg fracture” when she was struck by the car driven by Jeff Green as it coasted behind the pit wall. Ms. Ryland was transported to nearby Memorial Hospital for further treatment.(SpeedNet), during the race they interviewed Green, who said he had no brakes and couldn’t stop when he hit the fan, he said he was sorry and felt bad.
