Clarence Brewer Jr, owner of Brewco Motorsports based in Central City, said Monday that Mark Green will not be back as the driver of the #37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet next year. Brewer said the search for a replacement driver is under way. Casey Atwood, a 17-year-old racer(now 18) from Tennessee, signed on with Brewco earlier this year for the ’99 season. Brewer said the plans for Atwood are to go ahead with a second car. A sponsorship deal for Atwood could be announced later this week, said Brewer, who also owns the #37 Craftsman truck driven by Scot Walters. No word on where Green may end up.
