Phil Morris has new crew chief, Neil Perkins, used to work for Hermie Sadler. The team comes off a great start and finish in their first outing with a fifth place finish at the ROCK. Morris says the phone hasn’t stopped all weekend, but nothing to announce at this time. The team is busy preparing the second car for an all day test session Wednesday at Homestead, FL, where he will race next. This is a second DEI car they bought and it is newer and is a more slippery package for the 1 1/2 mile track.(Racin’ with Russ)(11-3-98)
