It was 11 years in the making, but as of late last week Cale Yarborough Motorsports ceased operations. Yarborough, a three time Winston Cup champion, without a sponsor for his #98 Ford team, decided it was time to call it quits. Cale supposedly said that the team has started working again with a skelton crew and it’s engine shop and may have a sponsor lined up and hopes to have an announcement within the next two weeks, Winston Cup Today Radio reports the same, Cale calls it a glimmer of hope.
