BGN newcomer Phil Morris was behind the wheel of the Harris Trucking Late Model Chevy and won the 200 lap LM win at the annual Thanksgiving 400 at Kenly NC, with a late race pass of Rodney Childers. The win was worth $7,500 and is Morris’ 30th of the season within six different race tracks for 1998. This was Morris’ last race for the year and the team is concentrating on cementing a major sponsor for their 1999 BGN program. It looks like, at this point the team is planning a four race BGN program at a minimum with the associate sponsors footing much of the bill(Racin’ with Russ)(11-30-98)
