Veteran Winston Cup engine specialist David Evans has been named chief engine builder for Larry Hedrick Motorsports and the #41 Kodiak Racing Team. Evans, a native of South Hill, VA, assumes his position immediately and will operate out of the team’s state-of-the-art engine facilities at the team shop in Statesville, NC.
