I hear that Joe Bessey is going to operate a Cup team and Geoff Bodine will drive for him in the # 60 Powerteam WC Chevy for the 1999 season. I also hear they signed the deal on Wednesday(12-12-98) — The team has bought the #96 Buzz McCall equipment and will work out of the old #96 shop, I also hear their will be an announcement on TNN’s Raceday today(11am/et) — It’s official, Geoffrey Bodine(not Geoff) will drive the #60 Power Team Chevy in 1999 and will test at Daytona in January.
