Ricky Craven’s last weekend before the 1999 NASCAR Winston Cup season kicks off was a busy one. On January 30, 1999, Craven sat on the pole for the 2nd Annual Charity Ride and led a field of 350 snowmobiles around the scenic Moosehead Lake snow course. The single digit temperature did not effect horsepower or enthusiasm and the event raised in excess of $63,000. See the Press Release at Craven rides to success in 2nd Annual Charity Snowmobile Ride
