While testing at Greenville-Pickens Speedway Monday, Mike Stefanik was injured when he crashed the #66 Truck he was testing. Jim and Holly Clark, owners of the Prime Performance Motorsports #05 BGN Monte Carlo, immediately withdrew their entry for the BGN Vegas race this weekend, and will wait for Mike’s speedy recovery to drive their cars. The semi hauler with two race cars were half way to Vegas and called back Monday night. The throttle stuck wide open and he hit the wall head on. He was taken to the hospital where they determined he suffered some torn and strained ligaments in his neck. He is flying home today(3-3-1999)
