Longtime BGN Series car owner Ed Whitaker said Monday afternoon he will field a car(#7) for former Nashville Speedway Late Model champion Joe Buford in Saturday’s Moore’s Snacks 250. Buford started 10th and finished 17th in the April 3 BellSouth Mobility 320 at Nasvhille. Whitaker, who fielded a car for 1998 BGN champion Dale Earnhardt Jr. for two races in 1997, has 27 career BGN wins as a car owner(Bristol News)(4-6-1999)
