The teams in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series honored injured comrade Rick Carelli in Sunday’s NAPA 300K at Pikes Peak International Raceway by placing ?????Get well’ decals on the sides of their trucks. Ron Hornaday, an old friend and rival of Carelli’s all the way back to their days in the NASCAR Winston West Series, had ?????Get Well Rick???? displayed on his #16 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet’s dash. The message was visible from the in-truck camera Hornaday was carrying. Randy Renfrow, who took over the reins of the No. 6 RE/MAX International Chevrolet, finished 22nd after engine problems ended his day(NOL)(5-17-1999)
