Crew member, Michael Shiplett, mechanic and front tire carrier for the #75 Remington Arms Ford team was involved in a motorcycle accident on his way home from testing at Lowes Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 10th. Michael had surgery last week for torn ligaments in his knee. He is expected to make a full recovery within 3 to 6 weeks. Michael just celebrated his birthday. Jeff Silver will take over the duties as front tire carrier for the next two weeks in Charlotte while Michael recuperates. Jeff is the tire specialist and normally is the rear tire carrier for Butch Mock Motorsports. David Doyle will take over the duties as rear tire carrier for Jeff.
