During an interview on TBS with Dale Earnhardt Jr, Dale Jr mentioned that BGN driver, Mike McLaughlin, would spot for Earnhardt Jr in the Coca Cola 600. McLaughlin is also the stand by driver for Tony Stewart if Stewart doesn’t make it back to Charlotte after running the Indy 500, wonder who spots for Earnhardt Jr if that happens(TBS Happy Hour show) — UPDATE 1: I hear Mike Calinoff, of RaceComm and regular spotter for Ricky Craven and the #58 team will spot for Earnhardt Jr, and I have confirmed Calinoff will spot because of McLaughlin’s uncertainty of what would happen if Stewart couldn’t get back in time made DEI decide to go with Calinoff instead
