ACDelco will remain in NASCAR as a BGN car sponsor but will not be affiliated with Dale Earnhardt Inc. next season. According to ACDelco spokesperson, when Ron Hornaday and NAPA take over the #3 next season, the company will move to another team in the series. It will not be a car owned by DEI(Times-Dispatch)(5-30-1999) – UPDATE 1: Hearing Richard Childress Racing may start a BGN team in 2000 and AC Delco could be their sponsor, also supposedly RCR may not run a Truck team in 2000(5-31-1999)
