Akins Motorsports has hired veteran NASCAR crew member Joey Knuckles as a chassis specialist for the #38 Barbasol Ford Taurus driven by Glenn Allen in the NASCAR Busch Series, team owner Brad Akins announced today. Prior to his appointment at Akins Motorsports, Knuckles began the 1998 season with Ted Musgrave at the #15 Bud Moore Winston Cup operation. In 1997 Knuckles worked for Akins Motorsports on the Barbasol Ford, then driven by Elton Sawyer. Knuckles has worked as crew chief for NASCAR legends Davey Allison, Cale Yarborough and Buddy Baker(Keystone PR)
