Speedwords is hearing that at least two drivers are offering their services to other car owners in a deal that includes their own crew chiefs. At first this sounded a bit weird, but it makes sense. With all the talk about chemistry and such hiring a driver complete with a crew chief they already know and trust sounds like a good deal. It often happens anyway shortly after the driver is hired so this move would just be ahead of the curve a little….AND….Hearing that Jimmy Spencer could be in a different car (GM?) within two weeks(Speedwords)
