The online auction begins July 1 and closes Aug. 3. A decided “underdog” in the battle for the 1992 NASCAR Winston Cup Series championship with the late Davey Allison and Bill Elliott, Kulwicki renamed his Ford Thunderbird the “Underbird” for the season finale at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
