ASA driver Jimmy Johnson plans to run up to five BGN events in the #92 Chevy. Plans are to run at Memphis on Oct 31st, where they recently tested, and possibly the Milwaukee Mile in July and three more events after the ASA season is over. The team plans to run full time BGN in 2000 and run Johnson for rookie of the year. Johnson won last weeks ASA event at Memphis, his first ASA win. His team is crew chiefed by former Cup crew member Tony Liberati(in part from RPM2Nite and from my archives)(6-18-1999) – UPDATE: I hear the team will test their BGN car at Milwaukee this week and if all goes well, they plan to attempt the BGN event(6-21-1999) – UPDATE 2:Johnson and the team had a very good test at Milwaukee and will attempt to make the BGN race in the Herzog Motorsports #92(6-29-1999)
