Hearing that Ernie Irvan will have a new #36 M&M’s paint scheme in 2000 called the Millenium car. No idea what it’ll look like but it is supposed to be revealed at Charlotte in October — UPDATE: I also hear that Ernie will run a special paint scheme at Atlanta with the car painted like a candy wrapper coming off, with the new scheme partly exposed and the present scheme partly exposed — UPDATE 2: Saw this on the Action page(thanks Tina), wonder if it’s the announcement of the Millenium car for 2000? – “THE RACE IS ON TO THE MILLENNIUM COUNTDOWN, NASCAR Driver Ernie Irvan and the M&M’s Spokescharacters will be at a press conference and “M&M’s” ice cream buffet hosted by Action Performance Companies, “M&M’s” Chocolate Candies and MB2 Motorsports.
