so I thought I’d post it – ARCA driver Kirk Shelmerdine found himself wondering where his transporter was when it failed to show up at the track for practice Wednesday at Pocono Raceway. He learned Thursday morning that his transporter driver had almost reached Michigan Speedway. The driver thought the race this weekend was in Michigan because last year ARCA raced at Michigan at this time of year. The transporter arrived at 4 p.m. Thursday, too late for Shelmerdine to get ready for first-round qualifying(Speed Magazine)(7-26-1999)
