Robert Yates has announced that Kenny Irwin will no longer be the driver of his team’s #28 Fords. “Kenny Irwin and I have mutually agreed that it is in the best interests of both Kenny and the team to not continue our relationship together into the year 2000,” Yates said in Wednesday afternoon’s announcement( That’s Racin’ ) so is he out now or after the 1999 season?? The Yates quote makes it sound like it after the season, stay tuned. Ok, from what I hear, Irwin is in for the rest of 1999 and out for 2000.
