Carl Long has a 90 day contract with Sadler Brothers Racing in the BGN #95 Chevy, previously driven by Bobby Hamilton Jr. It was Long’s first try in the BGN, but Bristol is the site of his 1997 All Pro win, but he failed to qualify. Current plans are to run Dover, Charlotte, Memphis and Rockingham – with proper sponsorship a full season next year. Carl’s career started 15 years ago at Orange County South Boston and he also works as part of the crew. Long will also race at Atlanta and Talladega in ARCA(StockCarFans Newsletter)(8-28-1999)
