The South Carolina Dept. of Education, in conjunction with SCANA Corp. and RaceWay Marketing, is implementing a pilot program in three school districts around the state (Darlington Co., Jasper Co., and Saluda Co.). The program features a curriculum enhancement program entitled Rev It Up!, that brings racing into the classroom and uses a motorsports-related theme to teach elementary and middle schools students about math, science and geography. BGN driver and South Carolina native Lyndon Amick, will unveil a new paint scheme featuring the Rev It Up! theme that he will carry on his (#88) race car at this weekend’s BGN race at the Darlington Speedway.
