Kenny Schrader is leaving the #33 Andy Petree Racing Team, supposedly at the end of the season, but possibly as soon as next weekend at New Hampshire. The Missouri native will move to the #36 MB2 Motorsports, M&M’s Pontiac, Team for the 2000 season replacing Ernie Irvan(who retired). The move was a big surprise to garage onlookers and to Petree himself, who, to say the least, was not pleased with Schrader’s decision. Rumors had been circulating that Petree’s 2000 sponsor, Oakwood Homes, has been experiencing financial problems, putting the backing in jeopardy( Inside Motorsports ) Petree has said that the backing of Oakwood Homes is not in trouble and Schrader went out and won the ARCA race in Salem, IN on Sunday
