Petree Crewchief News:

#33 Team owner, Andy Petree, was upset to learn last weekend that Ken Schrader would be leaving his team at the end of the season, so imagine what he must be saying now after learning that crew chief Sammy Johns is also leaving, apparently to follow current #33 driver Ken Schrader to the #36 M&M’s team in 2000. Johns says he is exploring his options and that nothing is official yet. But, Jimmy Elledge, Petree’s other crew chief on the #55 Square-D Chevy, confirmed that Johns has told Petree he’ll be leaving at the end of the season. Elledge says Petree may return to the crew-chief ranks. Where would that leave Ryan Pemberton, the current #36 crew chief? And the word in the garage is that current #36 driver Jerry Nadeau and Rick Hendrick, who owns the #25 team Nadeau will drive for in 2000, may want Pemberton to follow Nadeau there(in part from PitNow ) and Schrader is apparently taking crew chief Sammy Johns with him, leaving Ryan Pemberton open to make a move, with Nadeau, to the Hendrick Motorsports #25 Chevy( SpeedNet )
