Fain Motorsports (FMS Racing) announced that Clarksville, TN driver, Mark Day, will pilot the fan-owned team’s debut in the BGN. Initial plans called for FMS team driver Chris Douglas to handle the driving duties for the Memphis ?????Sams Town 250????, but NASCAR failed to give Douglas the needed approval. NASCAR has recently tightened their restrictions on rookie drivers by requiring that they make their debut on tracks of 1/2 mile length or less. However, Chris Douglas will remain a key figure in the team’s NASCAR Busch Series effort by handling all the marketing and sponsor relation duties for the event. Sponsorship for the #13 FMS Pontiac will be provided by Buck & Bass Sports Centre, CATCHFENCE.com, and Custom Van & 4???4 Center(FMS Racing PR)(10-5-1999)
