Jimmy Spencer ran over the foot of Bill Elliott’s front tire changer, Gordy Arbitter, while making a pit stop. In a separate incident, Jeff Burton had brake problems and hit his front tire carrier, Mike Brill, sending the crewman flying. Despite the setback, Brill was able to get back on his feet, grab the tire, then rush to the car to complete the stop. Neither pit crew member was seriously hurt( Orlando Sentinel
