Effective today, David Starr has chosen to step down as driver of the #73 Sonntag Racing Chevy truck. Though his future is unclear, several teams that have driver vacancies for next season are said to be considering Starr. Despite missing the first event of the season Starr currently stands 22nd in the overall points standings and third in the USG SHEETROCK Brand Rookie-of-the-Year standings.
