Shocker! RPM2Nite reports that Mike Bliss will NOT drive the #30(#27?) Eel River Racing Pontiac but will drive the #14 Conseco Pontiac for AJ Foyt in 2000. A potential sponsor backed out of a deal with the #30 team allowing an out for Bliss. The team is now searching for a driver and a sponsor in 2000. Kodiak was rumored as a possible sponsor for the #30 team. RPM2Nite confirmed with Eel River Racing that Bliss has left, no comment from the AJ Foyt team. No idea if Bliss will drive the remaining three Cup races in the #30 — UPDATE: Bliss will not drive the car at any of the remaining Cup races, the team is looking for a driver to finish out the season and for 2000( NOL )
