not really NASCAR news, but they do cover the races, so I thought it would be of interest – in part: The Spirit of Akron’s 29-year-old pilot, Gerald Hissem, slowly guided the deflating blimp nose down into woods after computer problems forced him to land. He and the blimp video technician on board, Robert Peacock, 34, escaped the accident with minor cuts and bruises.
