Studer BGN Attempt:

Sean Studer will attempt to make the Homestead BGN race in the #68 Winners Circle Racing Chevy. Studer has tested at Greenville Pickens(SC) and attempted to make the Memphis BGN event but failed to qualify. Studer started his racing career at the age of 12, driving go-karts in Lincoln, Neb., and one year later he claimed the track championship at Cornhusker Raceway Park. Studer and his family moved to North Carolina when he was 16 years old and he started competing weekly in late model cars at Concord Motorsports Park. In 1996, he began to compete in a limited schedule on the NASCAR All-Pro Series and then full-time in 1997 and 1998. Studer has plans to make the jump to the NASCAR Busch Series in 2000 running a limited schedule. Studer has ran races at Homestead in Slim-Jim and won a pole there(StockCarFAns BGN Newsletter)(11-10-1999)
