Stewart sets record UPDATE:

Tony Stewart becomes the first rookie in Winston Cup history to win three races in their rookie season with his win today at Homestead(he also won at Richmond and Phoenix). He and the late Davey Allison had both held the record at two — UPDATE: and yes, since Stewart and Allison are the only rookies to win at least two races in their rookie season and Allison did not to it in a row, Tony Stewart is the first Cup rookie driver to win two and a row. Stewart is also the first driver besides Jeff Gordon to win consecutive races in a Cup season since Mark Martin in 1997
