Doc Watson – CEO of Doc Watson Motorsports has announced the signing of driver Tim Bainey to compete in the ARCA Bondo / Mar-Hyde Series as driver for the #34 Doc Watson Motorsports Team. Bainey will make his first official start with the team during Speedweeks 2000 at Daytona. The teams operations will be based in central Pennsylvania where they have just completed construction on a brand new 5500 sq ft facility. They will be running Ford Tauruses and Thunderbirds which were purchased from the #90 Junie Donlavey Winston Cup Team in the 2000 season, plans are for the team to be running all Tauruses by the end of the season. Watson, who is also co-owner of Watson Green Motorsports, along with Dennis Green head coach of the Minnesota Vikings, is excited that the addition of Bainey to Doc Watson Motorsports will be the final step in taking his team to the top.
