Engine Shop Fire: Noted engine builder Keith Roberts, owner of Roberts Racing Engines in Mooresville, NC suffered a devastating fire that destroyed his shop Thursday. Local firefighters were called to the shop about 11:30pm and declared the fire under control about 1:00am. Fortunately there appear to have been no injuries in the blaze. Roberts Racing Engines is a major supplier of engines to various racing series including NASCAR’s Busch series and drivers including Jeff Burton, Jeff Fuller, Jeremy Mayfield and several others.
