So far the rumored driver have been Casey Atwood(but published stories say no) another rumor has Jay Sauter as the driver(2-20-2000) — UPDATE 3: This weeks NASCAR Winston Cup Scene has a story that says “Elliott Will Drive For Evernham in 2001” and it likely will be announced at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March. Evernham will buy Elliott’s team and keep some of the crew and employees.
