I hear ARCA and part time Cup driver Andy Hillenburg will attempt to make the Indy 500. Hillenburg and Bill Simpson of Simpson safety equipment have teamed up and have purchased two Dallara IRL cars from John Menard. Hillenburg also runs the Fast Track Racing School(3-15-2000) UPDATE: Hillenburg actually passed his Indy Racing Northern Light Series orientation three years ago, and ran some laps in Ron Hemelgarns car last season at Texas Motor Speedway. Hillenburg has purchased a couple of 1999 Dallara chassis and is finalizing plans to go racing at the Brickyard(SpeedVision)(3-16-2000)
