Winston Cup rookie-of-the-year contender Dave Blaney spent time on both dirt and pavement during the day. Before testing his Winston Cup machine on the 1.5-mile tri-oval, the 1995 World of Outlaws sprint car champion gave media members rides around the new four-tenths mile The Dirt Track at Lowes Motor Speedway in a unique two-seat sprint car.
