Evernham Motorsports and driver Casey Atwood tested at Greenville Pickens Speedway on Monday for the first of a two day test. Testing a Dodge Intrepid with their new Winston Cup Dodge engine through its paces. As mentioned in the past, Ray Evernham hopes to enter Atwood in a few Winston Cup races in cars owned by Elliott later this season, but no specific race dates have been picked(Greenville News)(6-13-2000) UPDATE: Evernham Motorsports left after testing on Monday and didn’t return on Tuesday but may test again at the speedway next week(6-14-2000) UPDATE 2: hearing the reason Atwood didn’t stay around to test more on Tursday was that the engine broke, but they plan on being back at the track next Monday and Tuesday(6-15-2000)
