Smith plans BGN races:

  • Smith plans BGN races: Skip Smith, a retired Pennsylvania State Police Officer-turned Stock-car driver-will once again be behind the wheel of the #28 Shop-Vac Chevrolet, the firsttime the team has competed since the season opener February 13th at Daytona. Smith is planning to run the entire ARCA Speedway schedule, along with a couple of BGN races(#67 Chevy), but the team couldn’t get everything pointed in the right direction in time to make a good showing at either Charlotte or Michigan as they didn’t have the cars to run. Smith Brothers Motorsports, owned by SkipÄ s brother Mike Smith, has now positioned itself to be able to support a quality program, on and off the race track. The team continues to expand its relationship with Shop-Vac® Corporation, and is looking forward to what the season brings their way(Skip Smith Site)(6-16-2000)
