Lepage Increases BGN sched: Swedish Match North America Inc. announced that they will sponsor Matrix Motorsports and driver Kevin Lepage with their Southern Pride brand of chewing tobacco in the All Pro Bumper-to-Bumper 300 at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway on October 7th. Matrix Motorsports is owned by Lepage and Steve Plattenberger. The announcement continues the relationship between Swedish Match and Lepage that began in 1999. In the past two years, Kevin Lepage has driven a Red Man sponsored car in selected NASCAR Busch Series races. In 1999, Lepage drove the #99 Red Man Chevrolet for Brewco Motorsports/J&J Racing in thirteen races. However, the relationship with Lepage does not end at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Matrix Motorsports will enter the #71 Southern Pride Ford Taurus in the Sam’s Town 300 at the Memphis Motorsports Park on October 29th(Southern Pride PR)(10-1-2000)
