Nemechek’s 2001 Plans: Cellular One announced it will once again sponsor Joe Nemechek during the 2001 NASCAR BGN season. Nemechek’s familiar #87 will carry the Cellular One colors in 14 BGN events beginning in Daytona on Feb. 17. This is the second year Cellular One will sponsor Nemechek’s Busch entry that is owned by the racing veteran’s family-run NEMCO Motorsports. Other 2001 BGN races in which Nemechek will pilot the Cellular One car are: Las Vegas (3/3); Atlanta (3/10); Texas (3/31); Talladega (4/21); California (4/28); Charlotte (5/26); Dover (6/2); Chicago (7/14); Dover (9/22); Kansas (9/29); Charlotte (10/6) Phoenix (10/27); and Homestead (11/10). Nortel Networks and Nokia phones will provide associate sponsorship on the car(NEMCO PR)(10-12-2000)
