Some drivers that will test include: #26-Jimmy Spencer, #20-Tony Stewart, #18-Bobby Labonte, #99-Jeff Burton, #24-Jeff Gordon, #5-Terry Labonte, #77-Robert Pressley, #10-Johnny Benson and others(HMS PR)(10-23-2000) UPDATE: Drivers testing Tuesday were: #24-Gordon, #5-Terry Labonte, #26-Jimmy Spencer, #31-Mike Skinner, #75-Wally Dallenbach, #77-Robert Pressley, #43-John Andretti, #19-Casey Atwood, #94-Bill Elliott, #88-Dale Jarrett, #28-Ricky Rudd, #97-Kurt Busch, #10-Johnny Benson, #40-Sterling Marlin, #01-Ted Musgrave, #61-Randy Tolsma, and #1-Steve Park. During the test session, Tolsma banged up his #61 Pontiac, which was purchased recently from MB2 Motorsports. Tolsma was uninjured(HMS PR), no word on speeds or how much damage was done to Tolma’s car(10-24-2000) UPDATE 2: hearing the car was totalled, no idea of Homestead plans(10-25-2000) UPDATE 3: Drivers shaking down their Winston Cup machines on Wednesday at Homestead Miami Speedway included: #19-Casey Atwood, #97-Kurt Busch, #43-John Andretti, #14-Rick Mast, #99-Jeff Burton, #2-Rusty Wallace, #31-Mike Skinner, #01-Ted Musgrave, #40-Sterling Marlin, #5-Terry Labonte, #24-Jeff Gordon, #1-Steve Park, #77-Robert Pressley, #75-Wally Dallenbach, #18-Bobby Labonte, #20-Tony Stewart, #33-Joe Nemechek, #94-Bill Elliott, #26-Jimmy Spencer, #96-Andy Houston and #9-Stacy Compton. The only speed reported was Nemechek, who was fastest on Wednesay at 153.671mph. Track record is 155.597mph by David Green last year(first Cup race).
