#81-Rick Ware was injured during Thursday afternoon’s practice at California. He hit the turn two wall and was taken to the infield medical center. He was alert and conscious but was complaining of a tingling sensation in his arm. He was then transported to Loma Linda Hospital and was kept overnight for observation and testing(NOL)(10-27-2000)
UPDATE: Ware was released on Friday morning after all tests were negative. The #81 Sportsman Racing Products Chevrolet was totaled in the turn 2 wreck forcing him to withdraw from the event(NOL)(10-28-2000)
