Dale Jarrett was the fourth-quarter winner in NASCARs True Value Man of the Year balloting. Jarretts race team raised money all year for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and Jarrett served as a national spokesperson for the group. Jarrett generated $97,500 for the foundation in 1999 through the efforts of his sponsor, Ford Credit. The winners in the first three quarters were Ward Burton, Jeff Burton and Jeff Gordon. The man of the year will be announced at the Winston Cup Awards Banquet(Gaston Gazette) the fans also contributed $33,000(11-23-2000)
