Hillin still on the hunt: Bobby Hillin hasn’t found a ride for 2001, but he says that while he may be down right now, he’s not planning on leaving the sport any time soon. Hillin formed his own team in 1998, along with several Major League Baseball players. The Texan found some success at first, but the 2000 campaign wasn’t kind. Hillin failed to qualify for several events and then ceased operations late in the year, having since auctioned off all his equipment. Hillin has concentrated on landing a Busch Series ride, but has also talked to teams in the Winston Cup and Craftsman Truck Series garages(Winston Cup Scene)(11-30-2000)
