hearing the #77 Team will lose Lear as it’s sponsor and is looking for a new sponsor to keep running for 2001(11-1-2000)
UPDATE: Kieran Dynes is working on an ARCA/Busch Series agreement that will allow him to drive the #77 BGN car in several short track races in 2001(BGN Racing Site)(1-8-2001)
UPDATE 2: hearing that for 2001, the #77 Ford team will run a limited schedule, at least the first four races of the season, unless they can find a new primary sponsor since Lear Corporation left the team. Plans are for Kelly Denton to drive the car and Jimmy Means will continue as Crew Chief and Team Manager. The team is actively looking for a sponsor….but am hearing former assoc sponsor, Merck Medco will be on the cars for the first four races and it’ll have a white and green scheme(1-21-2001)
