2001 Daytona Testing – Final Day 4 speeds/news:

The January testing season at Daytona International Speedway was completed on Thursday when NASCAR Busch Series teams wrapped their final day of testing. #43-Jay Sauter was the fastest on the speed chart in the final day of Busch Series testing with a lap of 184.438mph. Rounding out the top five was #23-Scott Wimmer 183.835, #20-Curtis Markham 183.426, #6-Joe Bessey 183.370 and #1-P.J. Jones 183.255. Jones, driver of the1 Chevy owned by James Finch, turned the fastest speed of all the Busch Series test sessions on Wednesday with a lap of 184.649mph. Thursday Busch Series Test Speeds:
